Our Services
Pass the Buck Inspections does more than just walking around and looking at your home. While we still utilize industry standards to make sure all the required boxes are checked we also know there’s more to a home than what’s on the surface. Utilizing tools and knowledge we’ll investigate all areas and find the issues before they become unwanted surprises. We want to help you feel comfortable with your purchase and future’s investment.
What to Expect
The standard components inspected during a home inspection are:
Exterior
Fireplace and visible parts of the chimney
Roof
Attic
Plumbing
Electrical
Heating & Cooling
Interior
Basement & Crawlspace
What’s Reported
The completed inspection report will have detailed and documented sections showcasing pictures of what was inspected as well as highlight items that are deemed needing to be addressed. The report will list details such as types of materials and components, geographical locations, faults found, and recommendations for corrections.
While we do our best to properly inspect a home, we go by standard accepted building practices and do not claim to be a building code inspector. Also to note that cosmetic issues are only mentioned where maintaining the integrity of the structure is involved such as exterior paint issues, where roof damaged has occurred, or structral.
Report Formats
Each completed home inspection report will be available via an emailed customer portal link that will allow you to view the report online and download it in PDF format. While viewing the report online it will give you the opportunity to request any clarifying or editing needs you may have.
The customer portal will also have the signed agreement documents, home inspection standards used, OCHI consumer notice, and paid invoice information.
